At Faith Over Fear Autism Support, we offer a diverse range of programs designed to empower families navigating autism. From resource navigation and school advocacy to parent guidance, workshops, and faith-based encouragement, we provide the tools and community you need to thrive. Discover how we can support your unique journey with faith, not fear.
Our key support programs
Our core programs are built on lived experience and a deep understanding of family needs, offering practical help and heartfelt support. Here are three cornerstones of our service:
Autism family support & resource navigation
Helping families find and connect to crucial resources like Medicaid/TEFRA, ABA therapy, respite, and community programs, making complex systems easier to navigate. Families feel less overwhelmed and know exactly what steps to take next.
Parent guidance after diagnosis
Providing emotional support and practical education for parents new to autism, moving them from initial fear and confusion to understanding and confidence.
IEP & school advocacy support
Supporting parents through the school system, from IEP meetings and placement issues to FAPE rights, ensuring children receive appropriate educational supports. Parents feel empowered to speak up.
Building community, fostering resilience
Beyond individual services, our commitment extends to creating a supportive community. Through workshops & parent training sessions, support groups, respite & break support, behavior support guidance & referrals, and community awareness & outreach events, we ensure no family feels isolated. We also offer autism essentials assistance (when funded), and faith-based encouragement & family motivation, addressing every facet of your family's well-being.
Who our programs serve
Faith Over Fear Autism Support is dedicated to serving children with autism and related developmental needs, alongside their devoted families. Our programs embrace: parents seeking guidance, caregivers & guardians (grandparents, aunts, uncles, foster parents) navigating complex systems, families of children with nonverbal or limited communication, newly diagnosed families seeking clarity, and those dealing with school advocacy or 'hidden barriers' like poverty or lack of transportation. We support all ages, from toddlers to school-age, by empowering the adults around them.
Challenges our programs overcome
Our programs provide solutions for the significant challenges families encounter. We address emotional struggles like isolation, anxiety, burnout, and guilt; systemic hurdles such as confusing paperwork, long waitlists, and service denials; and school-related issues including IEP confusion, lack of classroom support, and communication breakdowns. We also help navigate daily life challenges like meltdowns, sensory issues, sleep problems, and safety risks. Our goal is to transform overwhelming situations into manageable steps, fostering understanding, confidence, and connection for your whole family.
